Article Marketing & List Building - Half My List Was Built With These 5 Powerful, Repeatable Steps
By Jeff Herring
WARNING: This article should only be read by those you want a simple, powerful and repeatable 5 step process to building a highly qualified and hyper-responsive list of gold. If this is you, then read on.
Because that's what Article Marketing provides, a repeatable process for building a great list community.
Simple and repeatable 5 step process
For years now, while adapting to the ever changing Internet, I've followed this 5 steps. Here they are in a nutshell:
Step One - Your Article - Pick a specific topic in your niche and create a great quality article or series of articles around that topic. Make sure the article is good enough to represent you well on the Internet, contains at least one gold nugget of actionable information, helps the reader to know, like and trust you, and leaves them wanting more information from you.
Step Two - Your Resource Box - In your the Resource Box of your article, create a clear "call to action" that invites the reader to get more information from you in exchange for their email address. Make sure what you are offering is related to the article they just read and is a sample of a resource the reader can invest in later on.
Step Three - Your Opt-In Page - The links in your Resource Box should lead your prospect to an opt-in page. Make sure the benefits and instructions about why and how to opt-in are clear. And here is a tip that most people mess up, so don't be one of them. Have only one choice on the page. Opt-in or leave. Save all your other links for your follow up.
Speaking of which...
Step Four - Your Follow-Up - I'll say it this way straight from the beginning:
Your fortune and your future are in the follow-up
Most people do not follow up. So when you do, you are setting yourself apart from most people and positioning yourself well as the leader of your list community. Follow up with additional tips and tools. Follow up with additional resources. Another name for resources is products and services. Yes, offering your products and services is a form of follow up, because your products and services help your customers achieve their goals.
Step Five - Your "Care" of Your List Community - You may have noticed I have used the phrase "list community" a few times in this article. That's how I think of my list members. As a community that trusts me and I am called to lead. Part of my job is to take really good care of them. One way you can do this is to answer there questions and then ask them questions about what they want to to know.
And always remember:
When you take great care of your list community they will take great care of you

How to Create Your Own Unique Ebook and Have it Published Online!
By Fabian Tan
Have you ever dreamed of publishing ebooks online? Well, it's easier than you think to make it become a reality! All it takes is following a few simple steps that will allow anyone to become a published author online. Here are the 5 steps to publishing ebooks online in record time:
Step 1 - Choose a non-fiction topic. Non-fiction topics usually sell better online as people are often searching for instructional information on the Internet. Can't decide which topic to choose? Go to Amazon and see what's selling! You can also study Clickbank's marketplace, which mainly deals in ebooks.
Step 2 - Start writing your ebooks in blocks of time. It will be very hard to complete your ebook in one day, but you can do it if you divide the entire task into chunks of time. For example, you can make a dedication to write one chapter per day. In a week or two, you will have your ebook finished! Think of it as writing many articles altogether, only that the articles have to be coherent with each other.
Step 3 - Get an ecover and minisite designed to sell your ebook. You can get a graphics designer to do this for you. Go to Google and search for 'ecover designs' or 'mini site designs' and search through the results to find a designer to design your graphics.
Step 4 - Choose your merchant account for collecting payments. You can go with PayPal, which is the simplest option. Or you can go with Clickbank or Pay Dot Com, which will allow you to recruit affiliates to promote your product for you.
Step 5 - Congratulations! You have finished writing your ebook, set up your graphics and mini site, and set up your merchant account. Now's the time to market your ebook! Find potential joint venture partners and start spreading the word about your ebook online.

6 Ways to Make Money With PLR Products
By Sean R Mize
There are several ways that you can make money with PLR products.
1) You can buy PLR products and resell them as is to consumers.
2) You can buy PLR products, combine several of them into one package, and sell them to consumers.
3) You can buy PLR products and edit them to reflect your needs and the needs of your list, and sell them to consumers.
4) You can buy PLR products and edit them, then sell the edited version as a PLR product itself.
5) You can buy PLR products and edit them, then sell resale rights to your new product.
6) You can buy PLR products and resell them to other marketers.
This is only a partial list of what you can do with PLR products. However, that list should give you a good idea of all the different ways you can make money with PLR products.
Here is How to Do It
In this section, I am going to give you brief instructions about how to buy PLR products and use them in each of the 6 ways I just outlined.
I recommend that when you get started, you just use one of the 6 ways I have outlined, then as you grow, expand into using all 6 ways to make money online. Eventually you should be able to easily integrate all 6 ways of making money with PLR products. But it will be much easier for you to gain a handle on things and become good at making money with PLR products if you just start with one and expand as you gain experience.
Here goes:
1) You can buy PLR products and resell them as is to consumers.
This is certainly one of the easiest ways to make money with PLR products. If you are just getting started, you should only buy PLR products that come with sales pages for each of the PLR products. If you are comfortable writing sales copy, then you can buy any PLR product, whether it has a sales page or not, and just write your own sales copy.
The method for doing this is quite easy:
Buy the PLR product.
Upload the sales page to your website. You do not need a special web site for each PLR product; just create a separate page for each PLR product.
Sell all you can. Then buy another PLR product and do the same thing over again.
2) You can buy PLR products, combine several of them into one package, and sell them to consumers.
In this case, you need to be able to write sales copy. Basically what you do here is buy several different (preferably related) PLR products, package them together, and sell the package.
So do this:
Buy several PLR products.
Create a sales page for your collection of PLR products. Upload the sales page to your website.
3) You can buy PLR products and edit them to reflect your needs and the needs of your list, and sell them to consumers.
To do this, you will buy PLR products, take the source files, and edit them to reflect your own knowledge and experience, rename the product, create a PDF of your new product, and then create a sales page for your new product.
4) You can buy PLR products and edit them, then sell the edited version as a PLR product itself.
In this case, not only do you edit the PLR product, but you sell your finished product as a PLR product itself. To do this, you will need to not only create a PDF file of the product, but also a Word or text file so your customers will have a true PLR product themselves.
5) You can buy PLR products and edit them, then sell resale rights to your new product.
In this case, instead of selling the product as a rebrandable PLR product, you simply create a PDF of the product, and sell resale rights to your new product.
6) You can buy PLR products and resell them to other marketers.
In this case, you buy PLR products, and then market them just as they are to other marketers. Or you can alter them and sell the altered version to other marketers. If you alter them, you will want to create your own sales page to offer to the other marketers.

Domain Name Dispute Resolution in Malaysia
PETALING JAYA: Today’s domain names have become important identifiers for businesses, joining other identifiers protected by intellectual property rights such as trademarks.
The complexities of trademark law, however, can make it difficult for businesses to determine if they have enough protection for their domain name assets.
For example, trademark laws do not protect domain names that contain broad terms describing products or services (e.g. computers.com.my), so a business that uses that domain would have to rely on more proactive steps.
The onus is on the business owner to strategically register the domain name assets before the “next guy” to protect his online intellectual property, both current and future.
While prevention is always better than cure, it’s also good to know one’s recourse should a domain name dispute arise.
Slugging it out
In Malaysia, all domain name disputes are governed and administered in accordance with .my DOMAIN REGISTRY’s Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (MYDRP) — an administrative process designed to provide a fast and affordable resolution to local domain name disputes.
To remain impartial, .my DOMAIN REGISTRY as the sole administrator for domain names in Malaysia does not participate in the process, other than to enforce the decisions in accordance with the MYDRP.
The independent provider responsible for presiding over dispute resolutions here involving .my country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) — which includes .my, .com.my, .org.my, .net.my, etc — is called the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA).
To date, there have been 19 cases and 14 decisions made in Malaysia related to domain name disputes involving both local and multinational entities.
The expectation is that this number will rise in reflection of the increasingly important role Internet identities play in the professional and personal lives of Malaysians.
For names registered under the generic top-level domains (gTLDs) of .com, .org, .net, etc, complaints can be filed under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) — which the MYDRP is modelled on — through either the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) or the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC).
The final step
Domain name dispute resolution proceedings are typically seen as the last resort. Complainant and respondent are encouraged to explore negotiations, mediation, or conciliation before commencing a proceeding.
If the parties fail to find resolution through a KLRCA proceeding or do not want to resolve the dispute that way, the domain name dispute can also be resolved before a Malaysian court, arbitration or through any other dispute resolution process, regardless of whether the KLRCA proceeding has commenced or concluded.
An example would be conflicting Intellectual Property rights over trademarks, i.e. when there are two identical applications for the same trademark.
To be fair and neutral, the first-come, first-serve principle applies when it comes to the registration of domain names. No priority is given to trademark owners and all Malaysian companies and individuals alike are given equal access to any domain name as long it’s available.
Around the world and in Malaysia, most domain name disputes are due to cybersquatting, a practice where third parties register trademarks, names of famous people, or businesses with which they usually have no connection as domain names.
Usually, cybersquatters will register several variations of these names and then sell them back to the company or person involved, or auction them for prices sometimes way above the registration cost. More unscrupulous cybersquatters use these domain names to attract business to their own sites.
In a dispute, the complainant usually bears the costs of the hearing fees, except where the complainant originally chooses a single-member panel but the respondent chooses a three-member panel instead (the fees are then split equally).
The hearing fees for a single-member KLRCA panel starts from RM2,500 and the hearing fees for a three-member panel is RM5,000.
Step by step
A domain name dispute is usually resolved this way: The complainant must successfully prove that the disputed domain name is (1) identical or similar to a trade or service mark of the complainant, and (2) that the respondent registered and/or used the disputed domain name in “bad faith,” or with the intent of selling the domain name for a profit to the complainant, or registration or use of the domain name to disrupt a competitor’s business.
Only then will the registration of the disputed domain name be transferred to the complainant or deleted.
The respondent in turn, may defend their use of the domain name by establishing rights and legitimate interests in the domain name by the fact that the respondent has been known by a name identical or similar to the domain name prior to registering it.
There are no monetary damages applied in MYDRP domain name disputes, and no injunctive relief is available. .my DOMAIN REGISTRY, as the accredited domain name registrar, will implement the panel’s decision after 10 working days, unless the decision is appealed in court in that time.
For more information, including decisions and case files, visit www.rcakl.org.my. (The writer is senior policy executive at .myDOMAIN Registry.)
• OWN your own domain. Avoid having a third party such as a website designer/developer taking over the administrative control of your domain name.
• For multinational companies, ensure that the rights to a trademark that has been registered overseas has been properly assigned to the Malaysian subsidiary.
• Registering a company name with the Companies Commission of Malaysia and also registering a domain name that is actively used by that company benefits the company under the MYDRP.
• When a complaint is made in bad faith to deprive a respondent of its domain name (i.e. reverse domain name hijacking), the respondent has recourse to defend and if successful, the domain name remains with the respondent.
